Awards of the conference ICCVG 2010

Best presentation award

The Association for Image Processing, Poland (TPO) and Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Poland (PJIIT) have funded the award for the best young scientists' presentations at the ICCVG 2010 in the domains of computer vision and computer graphics.

The winning paper will be selected by the body consisting of Programme Committee members and members of TPO Governing Board present at the Conference.

The Laureate will be announced during the Colosing of the conference, Wednesday, 12:50-13:20.

Best Ph.D. Thesis award

During the Conference, the result of the contest for the Best Ph.D. Thesis of the Years 2007-2008 of the Association for Image Processing, Poland (TPO) will be announced, and the award will be handed to its Laureate.

The contest is open to authors of Ph.D. thesis defended at Polish scientific institutions, in the domains of widely understood communication between the computer and its ambience by means of images, and the applications of the information systems for processing, analysis and interpretation of images and scenes, object recognition, modelling, generation and visualisation of objects and scenes, perception and visual communication. Theses related to applied sciences are preferred.

The ceremony will take place during the Gala Dinner, Tuesday evening.
