Best Presentation awards

The Association for Image Processing, Poland (TPO) has funded the awards for the best young scientists' presentations at the ICCVG 2016 in the domains of computer vision and computer graphics.

The winning papers were selected by the body consisting of Programme Committee members and members of TPO Governing Board present at the Conference.

The awards were selected from the papers of the best scientific level on the basis of the quality of their presentation. The award is granted to the person who has presented the paper. The Committee can grant awards and distinctions. The distinction consists of a diploma. The award consists of a diploma and the right to participate in the next ICCVG without the fee.

The Laureates were announced during the closing of the conference.

Best Ph.D. Thesis award

During the Conference, the result of the contest for the Best Ph.D. Thesis of the Years 2014-2015 of the Association for Image Processing, Poland (TPO) will be announced, and the award will be handed to its Laureate.

The contest is open to authors of Ph.D. thesis defended at Polish scientific institutions, in the domains of widely understood communication between the computer and its ambience by means of images, and the applications of the information systems for processing, analysis and interpretation of images and scenes, object recognition, modelling, generation and visualisation of objects and scenes, perception and visual communication. Theses related to applied sciences are preferred.

The announcement of the results and the handing of the prize will take place during the Gala Dinner, on Tuesday evening.
