WiFi with a local password as well as via Eduroam will be accessible at the conference venue.
Registration
The registration will be open at the conference venue, ground floor, on Monday during all the sessions and on Tuesday during the morning sessions (until lunch time). At other times please call the conference phones - see "Conference | Contact us".
Local information
How to get to us
See the map and analyze your route with the service Jakdojade.pl (this service has very good applications for Android and iPhone - see here, LL corner, but it needs a constant Internet access). You can also use the route planner of the Warsaw City Transport Authority - ZTM. The timetable from ZTM and route planner offline is available for Android phones (look for mobileMPK - this application downloads the timetabe once and then it does not need a constant Internet access).
If you wish to use a taxi please consult this information, bottom of the page, from the Official Tourist Website of Warsaw.
Car park
- Free surface parking at the opposite side of the street - see in Google Maps.
- Paid underground parking in front of the main entrance to building 34 (WZIM) - see in Google Maps | see in Parkopedia | see in the parking web page (in Polish) - 5 PLN for 2 hours, 7 PLN (1.63 EUR) for 24 hours. There is no need to book.

Currency and payments
The currency in Poland is złoty (zł, officially PLN - New Polish Zloty). Its relation to Euro is approx. 4.30 PLN = 1.00 EUR (see the National Bank of Poland - NBP for the current value). The PLN is fully exchangeable internally, so you can exchange your money in every bank and in many small exchange offices ("kantor", "Wymiana walut"). Exchange rates in the city center are more profitable for you than those in the airports. Plastic cards, including the international ones, are accepted and welcome in nearly every shop. Some larger shops accept the payments in EUR also.
There is a bank (PEKAO SA) near the conference site, at the opposite side of the street.
For the conference payments at site we accept only PLN in cash. We do not accept payments by bank cards. We do not accept payments in any foreign currency.
Weather information
The weather in September can be from sunny and mild (25 deg C at midday) to rainy and cold (12 deg C at midday, 5 deg C at night). See for example the numerical weather forecast at the ICM – Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, Warsaw University.
