4 Biologically Inspired Modelling of Flowers Krzysztof Najda, £ukasz D±ba³a, Warsaw University of Technologygeometry, procedural generation, biologically correct models In this work we present a tool for three-dimensional procedural modeling of flowers based on botanical information. Main biological input is floral formulas.
It can represent the structure of a flower with numbers, letters and symbols. Based on this notation, a user-friendly interface was created. Artist needs to draw several curves and provide floral formula to create full 3d model. That speeds up the recreation of biologically-correct models and because of implementation in Maya, each flower can be easily customized after the initial model was created. | hide paper details |
| Afternoon | Normally, we would organize a trip of Warsaw in the afternoon. This time it is physically impossible. Fortunately, there are many trips available in the internet. Let us name a few.
